Coming Soon to a Campus Near You!

It’s the beginning of a new month, which means there are all sorts of things to look forward to! Last month Activities Committee hosted the annual Newcomer’s Party, which included a huuuge game of “rock paper scissors,” a mattress relay race, Streets and Alleys, Murder, Freshman Gladiator, LOTS of donuts, and just fun in general. Also in September was the Corn Maze outing, which proved to be a blast as usual. Over sixty students participated! This year the maze at Schult’z Country Barn was Pac-man themed. Whether you collected all five checkpoints, ran around scaring innocent bystanders, or just wandered in the maze, it was bound to be fun. Once you found your way out, there was a bonfire with hot dogs, chips, and cheesecake for dessert.

Looking ahead to October, there’s even more fun coming up! In just a couple of weeks is the Hay Ride, a great way to get out and have a good time with friends. Not to mention, there are always TONS of food to look forward to! New this year to Immanuel will be the Irish Games, similar to Field Day, but with an Irish twist and involving the great cheese wheel chase! Keep an eye out for posters on campus with more details. Shortly after that is the Fall Party, which includes a startle house, costume judging contest, food (of course) and more fun and games in the gym. We hope to see you all there!
