Mini-Classes in Review

Well, mini-classes have come and gone once again. From life skills like “Home Wiring” and “How to Side a House” to more laid back classes like “Nuns on the Run” and “Yoga,” this year’s mini-classes had a little bit of everything. We had a handful of new classes and a variety of tried and true classics that everyone loves.

As a member of the mini-class team, I can say that it wasn’t easy to set everything up. It took a great deal of effort and planning on behalf of the committee, Prof. Roehl, and especially the presenters. Many of those presenters took off from their normal lives and drove hours just to teach us for a day. None of it would have been possible without them.

I really hope you all enjoyed the break from the usual hum-drum of the third quarter blues. Even if you didn’t get into all the classes you wanted this year, mini-classes will keep on getting better and better as you go through your high school years. Now, after a few days of fun and games, we’re back to the usual grind with almost no end in sight. Thankfully, Spring Break is coming soon.
