Early 2000's Trash
As much as many of us take pride in being “90’s kids,” it’s time we wake up and face the truth. Being born in 1998 means the early 2000’s shaped you more than anything. Sure, you may think that watching every episode of “Full House” and knowing how to work a VCR makes you special. But if we’re being honest with ourselves, most of us grew up watching “Drake and Josh,” waiting for the next High School Musical movie to drop, and chatting with our friends on Gmail. People tend to block out their grade school years—and I don’t blame you—but it’s interesting to look back on the music you used to like. Listening to your old iPod nano can conjure up some fond memories, and it’s a huge self-esteem boost. Yikes, good thing you don’t listen to that trash anymore.
If, for some odd reason, you ever want to kick it early-2000’s style, we’ve thrown together this playlist for you. It’s a compilation of our personal favorite songs from the good(ish) old days, so it might not be as fun for you as it is for Rose and me. Please oblige us and listen anyway. It’s on Spotify, so if you’re lazy, just search for the username flashplaylists and hit shuffle. Happy listening!
