The True Guardians of the Galaxy
Angels are absolutely everywhere. God sends them to watch over us even when we put ourselves in vulnerable positions. That is absolutely no accident.
Have you ever had an instance where you got to see an angel at work? Moments like these make you appreciate them a whole lot more, even if you don’t see them. They also make you thank God extra for them.
Tonight, I was driving home from school for Thanksgiving break. I happened to fall asleep and move from the right lane on the freeway to the far side of the left lane. I woke up and somehow was able to gain control and continue on my journey. I have no doubt that I had an angel guided by Jesus helping me get that car straight again. The other thing I noticed as my heart was pounding was that there was a huge pack of cars ahead and behind me, but no one within 100 yards of me. This too was a plan.
I find it cool to think of Jesus like a defensive coordinator with angels as his players. He carefully plans out plays of where He wants them to be to: keep a car from flipping, keep you from falling, or keep something from hitting you.
So while Jesus continues to set protection for us, we look to continue to thank Him. He has a plan for us and has made so many situations that could have been way worse, a lot better by guiding us with angels. So tonight when you pray, don’t forget angels. They always come through in great ways.
