Ridin' Solo
Giant teddy bears, bouquets of roses, boxes of chocolate. Valentine’s Day is coming up, and with it comes the divulgence of two types of people: the ones who swoon over this kind of list, and the ones who are fleeing at the sight of it. There may be a fundamental flaw in using a random day on the calendar as a reason to show your affection, but it’s become tradition to do so, and those of us not in romantic relationships don’t really know what to do with it. Might as well own your independence by blasting some Kelly Clarkson. That’s normal, right?
